things to do in co.png

For those traveling to Colorado for the first time, we hope you’re able to take a little time to enjoy what the state has to offer. Below are a few of our favorite spots.

All if these spots could easily be turned into a day trip. Distances in Colorado can be decieving, but the views are worth the drive.

CITY PARK - DENVER

We spent a lot of our time here during 2020, lots of walk and Pokémon Go. It’s an easy, relaxed spot with great views of the Denver skyline and the mountains in the distance.

SAPPHIRE POINT OVERLOOK

Our favorite place to take in the views overlooking Dillon Reservoir. This is also where Charlie proposed, which makes it extra special to us.

GUANELLA PASS
A beautiful mountain drive with sweeping views. If timing allows, this can be a great spot for early fall color. Weather and conditions can vary, but it’s worth checking out.

GARDEN OF THE GODS - COLORADO SPRINGS

Iconic red rock formations with walking paths and incredible scenery. Easy to explore and a must see if you’re spending time near Colorado Springs.

RED ROCKS - MORRISON

Even without a concert, Red Rocks is worth visiting. Walk the steps, take in the views, and experience one of Colorado’s most well known landmarks.

TOCABE

Native American–inspired bowls (think Chipotle-style, but better). Don’t skip the fry bread, it’s our favorite. This place is a staple thanks to our brother in law, Paul!

LOWRY'S BEER GARDEN

Casual, laid back, and a great spot for a relaxed meal. This place officially turned Becca into a burger lover.

LOS 3 GARCIAS
Lake front view featuring classic Mexican dishes and has the best spicy margaritas!

MEOW WOLF

An immersive, interactive art experience that’s colorful, weird, and fun. Easy to spend a couple hours exploring and getting lost in the details.

AVANTI FOOD + BEVERAGE - DENVER

Something for everyone, plus great views of downtown Denver. Multiple food options, drinks, and an easy place to meet up with a group.

EDGEWATER MARKET - SLOAN'S LAKE

A food hall with lots of options, right next to Sloan’s Lake. Great for grabbing a bite and then taking a walk with mountain and city views.

RINO BREWERY CRAWL

A great area to explore local breweries, street art, and murals. Easy to wander, grab a drink, and take in the neighborhood.
